Membership in the only national organization representing Family and Consumer Sciences professionals across practice areas separates the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) from other professional FCS groups. Educators addressing needs from early childhood education, elementary to adult, higher education, extension, textiles, clothing, design, nutrition, food science, government agencies, WIC, housing, interiors, and the International Federation of Home Economics are all encompassed in AAFCS membership.
